Just a quick reminder that in less than two hours Blogathon 2007 kicks off. I won’t be participating myself, but I know of one guy who will.
If you find the time, pop over to Kami’s Footsteps in the Mirror all day between 6 a.m. PST on the 28th and 24 hours after that. Edrei, that’s his real name, will be blogging during that time, posting every 30 minutes. Whatever funds he raises will go to the Association for International Cancer Research. That’s a non-profit organization for cancer research worldwide.
You can read more about his efforts and reasons first, or go straight to sponsoring him by pledging. If you just want to leave him a comment, that’d be great too. I’m sure he’ll be needing all the support he can get.

I should mention another blogger that could still do with some funding. That’s the indomitable Cas (makes her sound like a ship, but she’s cool) who writes at Bright Meadow. A while back she tortured herself by running 5,000 metres for a UK Cancer fund. You can still sponsor her as well.
If you just want to give to a local fund of your choice, for whatever cause, and this post reminds you to do that today, that’s great too.
Oh, and sorry: I lied in the title. I’ll discuss the ethics of that in another post some day.
