I’ve a guest post (w/ photo) up today on Shifting Pixel, Joe Lencioni’s amazing photography blog.
Joe is a member of 9rules, web designer and photographer. He tries to cover all areas of that art form. Or as he he puts it himself:
[...] Ranging from raw to refined, whimsical to thought-provoking, Shifting Pixel highlights the best of both subject and photographer.
Be sure to check out his recent black and white art work. It’s stunning.
The reason for this series of guest posts is Shifting Pixel’s second anniversary. Last year, Joe did a similar thing. This year, all the contributions come from fellow 9rulers.
I’m really happy, and especially honoured, to participate. Happy blogging anniversary, Joe!

Wow… I’m really loving that blog and the way it’s been designed. It’s so clean it uses the whole screen to great effect with the large images.
A really good photo and post from you too. Keep up the good work.

Thanks. Yeah, it is amazing isn’t it? I love big type and big images like that. And it’s not at all ‘trendy’ (in the bad way) either.

I’ve now added it to my Google reader. It’s nice to be greeted with some lovely images in there when I check on updated posts.

It really is nice, although with the larger type I thought I did something to my browser settings when I first brought up the page. Now that I know it wasn’t me, I really like it.
